Is it worth selling through Prologima?

The MALL GROUP marketplace we focus on reaches a market of 66 million people, with annual e-commerce sales of €1 billion and growing rapidly. Prologima is the professional partner that helps you achieve fantastic sales success. We are paid on commission from the sale of your goods, so we have a completely common goal. We have a robust infrastructure and years of experience in e-commerce. We work with high volumes, so we can afford low commissions and a quality of service that you would struggle to achieve on your own.

For which customers is Prologima ideal?

Prologima focuses on manufacturers and distributors of goods who are serious about their entry into e-commerce. We work with large foreign companies and small manufacturers of exclusive goods. We offer comprehensive services, logistics and marketing support. We are paid on commission for goods sold, so we do everything we can to make our customers' goods successful on the Marketplace.

Do I need any IT skills?

No way. Prologima is the business partner that gets your goods on the largest Marketplace in Central and Eastern Europe without any need for IT knowledge or background. Product listing and complete operation including logistics is handled by us. Your only concern is to provide product data, images and prepare the goods for our warehouse. If you have your own warehouse with dispatch, some IT cooperation will be necessary here, as we need to connect to your warehouse to be able to send you orders for dispatch.

What kind of goods can I sell?

You can sell pretty much any product on the Marketplace as long as it meets the legal requirements or licensing rules. The sale of goods is governed by the legislation in each country in which they will be offered.

What markets can I sell in?

We are currently focusing on the Marketplace of MALL GROUP, the largest e-commerce player in Central and Eastern Europe. You can sell in 5 countries - Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Slovenia. Croatia is also expected to open for Marketplace in the near future.

Can I ship items from my own warehouse?

Yes, you can use your own warehouse with shipping or any other logistics partner you already work with. Our IT department will discuss the most efficient form of connection to automate sending orders for dispatch and updating stock. For larger volumes, it is also advisable to consider logistics partners in the countries where you will be selling.

Do I have to register with the Marketplace?

No, your only business partner is Prologima. We provide everything that selling on the Marketplace entails. We list your goods, process orders, complaints and returns. We warehouse and ship your goods, handle all accounting transactions with each Marketplace. You only invoice Prologima for the goods sold at regular intervals, usually once a month, according to the agreed commission terms.

Can I sell on the Marketplace under my own brand?

The Marketplace distinguishes between a product brand and a supplier of goods. The product brand is determined by the product and is always listed for each product in the e-shops. If you are a manufacturer or seller of a brand that is not yet present on the Marketplace, we will ensure that it is set up as a condition for the start of sales. The supplier of the goods in the Marketplace is by default Prologima. However, we have many customers, especially direct manufacturers of goods, who want to appear on the Marketplace under their own name as suppliers of goods. In this case, we will arrange for you to create a special account in the Marketplace, subject to quick approval by MALL GROUP, and then your goods will appear in the e-shops with your supplier name. This option does not change the business relationship; all orders and accounting operations continue to take place exclusively between Marketplace and Prologima.

What do I have to pay before I can sell?

If you have all product data ready, including descriptions and images, you only pay an activation fee of CZK 1,000 excluding VAT and a listing fee of CZK 15 per product per Marketplace. We will prepare everything, list the products and the sale can start. If the product data needs more processing, adding or creating descriptions or translating them, editing images or dealing with other preparatory work, we will prepare a quote very quickly and then you can decide which services you need from us.

In what format do I need product data?

We are a company with a strong IT background, so we can handle basically anything. We can load any files, we can connect to your systems via API, database or ERP system. The more data you give us, the better and faster we can list your products on the Marketplace.

How long does it take to start selling?

It depends on the state of your product data and images. If you have everything ready in final form for your chosen Marketplace, it's only a matter of days before sales start. You can provide us with the data in basically any format you want, and we will specify how the listing will proceed based on the quality and quantity of the data. We will then list the products in the right categories and fill in the important parameters, set the prices and start the sale.

What are the commissions per product category?

Commissions vary significantly depending on the range of products you sell. Currently, they range from 8% to 20%. Prologima charges commissions of between 2 and 7% depending on the type of product range and sales volume. Marketplace also charges a fee of 9 CZK per order, Prologima does not charge a fee for individual orders.

Is there anything I need to worry about after I start selling?

That's up to you. You have access to the product administration, so you can edit descriptions, prices or images yourself. You can also turn products on or off on individual marketplaces. The processing of orders, complaints and returns is handled by Prologima and you don't have any work to do. If you use our fulfillment center, you don't have to worry about logistics either. We also keep track of your stock for you. All you really have to do is replenish the goods according to the rules you set. Once a month, you invoice us for the goods sold according to the agreed price conditions, and we always send you the exact documents and billing.

Can I edit product information myself?

Each of our customers has access to the product administration, where they have an overview of all the products they have listed. In the administration you can change product names and descriptions in all languages, set selling prices, change product images or add videos. You can also turn products on and off for individual marketplaces, affect the minimum stock levels and other parameters.

How will I keep track of my sales?

As part of the monthly fee, which ranges from 500 to 2000 CZK, you get one license to Power BI from Microsoft. You get access to detailed statistics and reports for all Marketplaces. You can track sales, returns, returns, top selling products, active product counts and much more. Your stats are updated several times a day and are accessible to you both online and within the Power BI app on your mobile phone. If you need, we will create any customized statistics and reports for you in Power BI.

Do I have to keep track of my stock levels?

For each product, you can set the minimum number of pieces you want to keep in stock at all times. If the stock falls below the set value, we will inform you that the goods need to be replenished. We also use computational algorithms to help automate the setting of recommended stock levels based on the turnover rate of each item. We also take into account seasonal fluctuations, marketing promotions, and provide early warning of the need to increase stock levels.

Can I sell products that are not in stock?

Yes, there is a standard delivery time setting for each product, which customers on the Marketplace follow. There are 2 cases. Goods that are always on order and are not in stock by default. And then goods that are currently out of stock and waiting to be restocked. Therefore, for each product, you can set whether the out-of-stock item should continue to be offered in the Marketplace or if it should be temporarily hidden in this case and automatically re-enabled in the Marketplace once it is back in stock.

When will I get paid for my merchandise?

The normal accounting period is one month. At the end of the month you will get an accurate overview of sales, claims, commissions and fees. Based on the summary, you will invoice us for the goods with a due date of 30 days. We usually receive invoices in EUR or CZK, but other currencies can be agreed. Currency conversions from the Marketplace are governed by the current exchange rate of the Czech National Bank.

How can I support the sale of my goods?

The success of your merchandise on the Marketplace is influenced by many factors. The key is an offer that is attractive to customers. Think about the fact that there is a lot of competition on the Marketplace and customers have a lot to choose from. Quality descriptions and attractive product images, completed parameters and correct categorisation are essential. Prologima handles most of these things for you and you can count on your products being listed correctly. Marketing support is a separate chapter. Marketplaces offer a lot of possibilities to promote your products, both directly in Marketplaces and in newsletters, events and other channels. Together we will discuss all the current marketing options and suggest a suitable strategy. We also have extensive experience in brand building in individual markets. We can help you choose the right marketing agency, and we know how to work with social media and influencers.

How can I update my product range?

In the administration interface, you can turn each product on and off for individual Marketplaces. You can also control whether the product should continue to be offered or automatically hide on the Marketplace after the last item is sold out. You can't list new products yourself, we always do that for you. We also guarantee you Markeplace data quality, correct settings of all parameters and categories, images, accounting and stock parameters, etc.

Is there a limit to the number of products I want to sell?

There is no restriction. Prologima is a partner of international concerns and small business owners, we can process any number of products. Prologima's IT infrastructure is sufficiently dimensioned for extreme load both in terms of the number of products and the number of orders and accounting processes.

Can I sell on a Marketplace that you don't offer?

We are currently focusing on Marketplaces MALL GROUP, the largest e-commerce platform in Central and Eastern Europe with an annual turnover of EUR 1 billion. We are preparing other major Marketplace partners to give you access to the largest possible markets and all major e-shops in the region. If you are a larger customer and have a requirement for a specific Marketplace, please contact us to discuss how we can expand our services for you.

What carrier will deliver my goods to customers?

In the Czech and Slovak Republics, you can use the MALL DELIVERY service, which is provided directly by the Marketplace operator MALL GROUP. Prologima also focuses on the DPD carrier, which provides delivery to all countries where Marketplaces are available. For larger shipment volumes, we will arrange any carrier according to your requirements that is available in the country.

Can I have customized sales reports?

Each of our customers has access to the product administration, where they have an overview of all the products they have listed. In the administration you can change product names and descriptions in all languages, set selling prices, change product images or add videos. You can also turn products on and off for individual marketplaces, affect the minimum stock levels and other parameters.

How many users have access to product administration and reports?

When you create your Prologima account, you get one access to product administration and one access to statistics on Microsoft's Power BI platform. We can create any number of additional user accesses to product administration, and all are free. Each additional license to use Power BI costs 220 CZK excluding VAT. If you already have a Power BI license, we will share the statistics to your existing account.

What end customer data do I have?

The end customer "belongs" to the Marketplace operator, so you have no access to their data, names or email addresses. Prologima processes all customer orders and therefore has access to this sensitive information, but will never provide it to you or any other third party. Prologima guarantees to the operators of the Marketplace that there will be no misuse of this data.
